'(.500) Even though they only gave up seven goals in three games, the Maple Leafs need to tighten up their defense. Toronto gave up an average of 34 shots on net in its first three games. If not for Andrew Raycroft recording his first shutout for the Leafs, things could have been ugly in Week 1.'

I wonder if Robert Picarello understands that those are 34 shots not 34 scoring chances? at least a couple of those rankings made sense.

I find it funny how everyone with a blog thinks he/she is a professional sports writer.

First off, start your sentences with capital letters if you want to criticize someone's else's writing.

Secondly, know that you and I definetly will never see eye-to-eye since I'm a huge Sens fan.

Thirdly, do you know how stupid you sound when you ask if that writer knows about the differences between scoring chances and shots? The guy you're referring to was one of NHL's lead writers for years before he moved to FOX. As a matter of fact, I think he still occasionally contributes to .com.

    Lastly Dude, get a life.
I wonder if you understand that being 23 and spending an entire paycheck on a hockey game is a sign of one of two things. Either you need to get yourself into therapy real quick or you have to move out of mom and dad's house. It's fans like you who gives teams like the Islanders funds to signs worthless pieces of garbage like Alexei Yashin for 10 years at $87.5-million or Rick DiPietro for 15 years.
